Pease Porridge with Strawberries

 

Warm porridge of oats for breakfast is  a delicious and fortifying way to start the day.

Directions:

Boil two cups of water

Add one cup of old fashioned oats

Stir

Cover

Set temperature at low.

When oats have cooked consistency, turn heat off and let sit for a good five minutes or so.

Whip them up with a chop stick.

Serve with cinnamon, maple syrup and fresh berries.

This makes two large portions, three medium portions or four small portions.
